Course Lecturer – Organizational Theory and Education (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) at McGill University seeks a qualified Course Lecturer to teach EDEM 674-001: Organizational Theory and Education during the Fall 2026 term. This 3‑credit graduate course examines contemporary organization theories and their practical implications for educational leadership and learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver weekly lectures and facilitate discussions on organizational theory, strategy, and learning.
• Design and assess assignments, case studies, and examinations aligned with course objectives.
• Maintain course materials on the myCourses platform and conduct any required virtual sessions via Zoom.
• Provide timely feedback and support to graduate students.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (MA) in curriculum studies, leadership, school administration, or a related field, with extensive relevant experience.
• PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline is an asset.
• Demonstrated expertise in organizational theories and educational leadership.
• Proven experience teaching similar graduate‑level courses.
• Background as a school administrator, institutional leader, or teacher/instructor.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myCourses learning management system.
• Familiarity with Zoom for virtual or blended instruction.
