Course Lecturer – Engineering Economy (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Faculty of Engineering Dean’s Office at McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for the Fall 2026 term to teach Engineering Economy (FACC 300). The position covers two separate lecture sections, each worth three credits, and includes tutorial sessions. The appointment is fixed‑term for the Fall semester with a salary of $11,824.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures for the assigned section (Tues/Thurs 4:05‑5:25 pm or Wed/Fri 1:05‑2:25 pm) in ENGMC 304.
• Conduct tutorial sessions on Fridays (3:35‑4:25 pm) and Mondays (8:35‑9:25 am).
• Prepare and update course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain academic standards and comply with university policies.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a master’s degree with a specialization or graduate diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• Member of a professional order (Engineering or Architecture).
• Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
