About the role
The Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University is seeking a qualified Course Lecturer to teach the Consumer Behaviour course (MRKT 452 002) in the Fall 2026 term. The position involves delivering lectures, guiding student discussions, and assessing performance for a total of 39 class hours.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver two weekly lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:05 to 17:25 in room ARMST 255.
- Prepare and update course materials, including slides, case studies, and reading lists.
- Assess student work through assignments, exams, and participation grades.
- Provide office hours and academic support to students.
- Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s degree (preferred) in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of five taught courses or sections at the BCOM level.
- Industry experience in marketing research is desired.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse student audiences.
Required skills
- Proficiency in delivering academic lectures.
- Experience with curriculum design and student assessment.
