Corporate IT SOX Coordinator

About the role

Reporting to the Director, Corporate SOX, the Corporate IT SOX Coordinator supports IT governance, risk, compliance and assurance activities, providing oversight of IT General Controls and key processes that impact financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with IT, Security, Finance, Compliance and business stakeholders to drive technology risk, internal control, audit and SOX initiatives.
• Coordinate planning, documentation, testing and reporting of IT SOX controls, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Maintain IT control documentation such as narratives, process flows, risk and control matrices, and supporting evidence.
• Act as liaison between control owners, management and external auditors for IT SOX‑related activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, external audit or related assurance function.
• Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CIA or CPA.
• Prior experience with IT SOX compliance and controls testing.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP ERP systems.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT and NIST.
• Familiarity with PCAOB auditing standards and SOX compliance requirements.
