Controller – Manufacturing Finance Role

About the role

Our manufacturing client in the Greater Toronto Area is looking for a hands‑on Controller to support rapid growth and a major ERP transition. The role blends day‑to‑day operational accounting with strategic financial reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial data for the parent company.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure accurate data migration to a new Epicor ERP system.
• Process invoices, sales orders, customer billing and collection calls.
• Develop and implement cost‑accounting processes from the ground up.
• Provide clean, accurate KPI data and respond to investment‑group data requests.

Required profile

• 3‑8 years of accounting experience, preferably a new CPA or CPA candidate.
• Experience as a Senior Accountant or 1‑2 years in a Controller role.
• Background in public accounting with manufacturing clients or comparable manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn all tasks.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week.
