Controller

About the role

The Controller will provide strategic and operational leadership over Alimentiv's accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across a complex multi‑entity global structure. Reporting to the CFO, the role oversees the full accounting cycle, ERP system ownership, tax and audit compliance, and end‑to‑end management of payables, receivables, and procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close, including consolidations, journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Review and sign off financial data prepared by the accounting team, resolving discrepancies before distribution.
• Lead preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for audit, regulatory and governance purposes.
• Monitor accounting close timelines, proactively addressing bottlenecks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and internal controls to preserve financial integrity.
• Serve as functional owner of the ERP platform, responsible for system administration and configuration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting operations and financial reporting within a global, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Ability to manage complex month‑end and year‑end close processes.
