Controller – Finance Leader for Fast‑Growing eCommerce Marketplace

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Controller to join a rapidly scaling eCommerce marketplace that is redefining returns management through a tech‑enabled recommerce model. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for building a robust, scalable finance infrastructure in a high‑growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory accounting, and payroll.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP‑compliant financial reporting.
• Manage audits, internal controls, and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Own cash‑flow management, forecasting, and treasury activities.
• Improve and scale financial systems, ERP tools, and reporting processes.
• Develop and expand the accounting function as the company grows.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• 3–5+ years in a Controller or senior finance leadership role within a high‑growth organization.
• CPA designation with strong GAAP and reporting expertise.
• Hands‑on experience across accounting operations, treasury, and compliance.
• Extensive ERP systems experience and ability to scale processes.
• Startup mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail.
