Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Controller will oversee daily financial operations and the monthly accounting close for PakFab Engineered Solutions, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting. This role works closely with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate consolidated results.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements and support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assess current accounting processes, recommend improvements, and implement new controls.
• Maintain general ledger, perform reconciliations, and oversee journal entries.
• Track expenses, analyze cost changes, and report cost variances.
• Coordinate audit preparation and serve as liaison to external auditors.
• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting teams.
• Manage timelines to meet reporting deadlines and complete special projects as required.

Required profile

• CPA designation or equivalent accounting qualification.
• 5–7 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
