Content Strategist (Contract)

About the role

PointClickCare is seeking a Content Strategist to own and execute the strategy for its owned brand content channels, including blog, podcast, web, and both long‑form and short‑form assets. The role sits within the Brand Marketing team and is responsible for the end‑to‑end process from planning through production and performance measurement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute the owned brand content strategy across all channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
• Plan editorial calendars, write and edit content, manage production workflows, and meet deadlines.
• Partner with product marketing and go‑to‑market teams to translate strategy into brand storytelling that fuels top‑of‑funnel thought leadership.
• Lead thought‑leadership content for executives and subject‑matter experts across owned media.
• Design distribution strategies with demand, social, and web teams to extend content reach.
• Manage agency partnership programs, overseeing deliverables and timelines.
• Coordinate with product marketing, demand generation, and growth to align content with campaign priorities.
• Track performance metrics, report insights, and refine the editorial mix.

Required profile

• Proven experience in content strategy with a strong execution track record.
• Hands‑on experience managing owned channels such as blogs, podcasts, and web content.
• Experience managing agency partners and external content programs.
• Strong understanding of how brand content supports top‑of‑funnel demand and thought leadership.
• Ability to analyze content performance metrics and translate insights into improvements.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, comfortable embedding with multiple teams.
