Consultant/Principal – Benefits Consulting

About the role

Convyta Partners is seeking a Consultant/Principal to join its Benefits consulting team serving clients across Western Canada. The role involves leading client engagements, delivering strategic advice on group benefit plans, and ensuring sustainable, high-quality benefit solutions for plan members.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary consultant for multiple client accounts, overseeing day-to-day benefit plan management.
• Lead large, complex engagements and also handle detailed work on smaller projects.
• Develop and present analyses, reports, and recommendations to boards of trustees and benefits committees.
• Collaborate with internal consultants to continuously improve service delivery and client outcomes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to provide up-to-date guidance.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in benefits consulting, including analyst and consultant roles.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead teams with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical mindset and capacity to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Formal designation such as FCIA or ACIA is an asset but not required.
• Demonstrated collaborative approach with clients, colleagues, and partners.
