About the role
Leonard Electrical Contractors Ltd is looking for a reliable Construction Trades Helper to support our crews on various construction sites in Edmonton. The role involves assisting tradespeople, handling materials, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and use hand and power tools as required.
- Remove rubble and debris, keeping the site clean and safe.
- Direct traffic around construction areas to ensure safety.
- Assist tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
Required profile
- No formal education required (no degree, certificate or diploma).
- 1 to less than 7 months of related experience.
- Dependable, reliable, hardworking team player.
- Ability to work under pressure, physically demanding tasks, manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Proficiency with power tools.
