About the role
We are looking for a skilled cabinetmaker to join our Edmonton workshop and produce high‑quality, custom kitchen cabinets. You will work with a team to turn detailed specifications into functional storage solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Operate woodworking machines such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers to cut, shape and form cabinet components.
- Prepare and interpret specifications, plans, or drawings for custom cabinets.
- Trim joints, fit parts and sub‑assemblies, and reinforce joints to create complete units.
- Apply finishes such as varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and supervise other workers as needed.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school) or equivalent.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant woodworking experience.
- Ability to work safely in a workshop and follow quality standards.
Required skills
- Operation of power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as planes, chisels and wood files.
- Experience using CADD or other computer‑aided design software.
