Construction Superintendent – Regina, SK

About the role

The Construction Superintendent will lead the full construction program for a landmark, technically complex project in Regina. This on‑site leader will oversee everything from pre‑construction planning through commissioning and handover, ensuring daily operations run safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain the master schedule using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Create and implement the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) plan.
• Review contracts, assist in subcontractor selection, and conduct constructability reviews.
• Plan, organize, direct, and control daily construction activities, leading junior resources.
• Develop 2‑week and 6‑week resource‑loaded look‑ahead schedules and monitor progress against the master schedule.
• Measure site productivity, manage logistics, and maintain a clean, safe site.
• Produce daily site reports tracking schedule and budget performance.
• Execute quality management programs and conduct daily hazard assessments and weekly toolbox talks.
• Lead weekly subcontractor progress meetings and hold all parties accountable to the schedule.
• Manage material procurement, submittal reviews, permits, third‑party inspections, commissioning, training, and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading large, multi‑trade construction sites.
• Proven ability to manage daily field operations, schedule performance, quality execution, and safety culture.
• Strong decision‑making skills and visible, hands‑on leadership style.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Regina or relocate to the area.
