Construction Superintendent

About the role

We’re seeking a Superintendent with a background in commercial and/or residential construction who’s ready to grow with a community‑driven general contractor. Based in Kelowna, you’ll lead site activities, ensure safety and quality, and contribute to delivering quality projects and great client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily site logs, reports, photos, and schedules.
• Lead site meetings, toolbox talks, and orientations.
• Plan project labour, equipment, and material needs.
• Supervise field staff and trade partners.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure safety, quality, and specification compliance.
• Coordinate project handover and warranty documentation.
• Assist on the tools when needed.
• Perform other duties based on project and organizational needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Residential or Commercial Superintendent.
• Basic computer and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Experience with WorkSafe BC safety standards.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean abstract required.
• Current First Aid certification an asset.
• Familiarity with CoConstruct and Salus an asset.
• Red Seal trade qualification is an asset.
