Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Construction Site Supervisor to lead our drywall projects in Calgary. You will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering quality work on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production and other reports.
• Supervise workers and projects on‑site.
• Coordinate and schedule activities.
• Oversee apprenticeship training.
• Recruit, hire, and manage staffing actions.
• Arrange or deliver training as needed.
• Set up machines and equipment.
• Estimate costs and material requirements.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Recommend personnel actions.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• 2‑3 years of experience supervising construction sites.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Estimating material and labour costs.
• Coordinating schedules and on‑site activities.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Recruiting, hiring and training workers, including apprentices.
