Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Site Supervisor will lead daily operations on residential, commercial and industrial drywall projects for Mattali Drywall in Calgary. Reporting to management, you will ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise painters, decorators, drywall installers, finishers, apprentices, labourers and insulators.
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities, material deliveries and equipment usage.
• Oversee apprenticeship training and arrange additional training as needed.
• Prepare cost and material estimates and recommend personnel actions.
• Requisition and order supplies, equipment and tools.
• Lead and instruct crews, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1‑2 years of experience supervising construction or drywall crews.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transportation.
• First Aid and WHMIS certifications.
• Ability to work in noisy, dusty environments and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong oral communication, organization, reliability and teamwork.
