Construction Project Manager

About the role

Sky Group of Companies is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a portfolio of construction and renovation projects from start to finish. The role demands strategic thinking, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
• Develop execution strategies, including risk mitigation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring collaboration and quality control.
• Prepare, manage, and control project budgets; approve expenditures, contracts, and change orders.
• Identify risks, enforce safety regulations, and conduct regular site inspections.
• Develop and adjust project schedules, coordinate workforce, equipment, and material procurement.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, architects, engineers, providing regular updates and detailed reports.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, oversee procurement to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Manage project closeout, final inspections, punch lists, and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or CCM are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera).
