Construction Manager – Site Operations & Subcontractor Coordination

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead daily site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role requires close coordination with subcontractors, on‑site supervision, and strong organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, evaluating daily operations.
• Plan, organize, and monitor construction schedules, milestones, and progress.
• Prepare and submit project budget estimates, manage budgets, and direct purchase of materials.
• Select trade subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and handle revisions or changes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings.
• Develop and implement quality‑control programs and policies.
• Oversee cladding and siding installation activities.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of construction management experience.
• College or CEGEP certificate/diploma (1‑2 years program).
• Ability to work on‑site in outdoor environments across various locations.
• Comfortable with tight deadlines, high pressure, and large caseloads.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Strong judgement, organization, flexibility, and accountability.
