Construction Manager – Project Leadership Role

About the role

Datoff Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead projects from pre‑construction through closeout across Northern B.C. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and cost controls.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Oversee procurement, contract administration and change management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and proactively address issues.
• Prepare and present project updates, reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in construction management.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts and scheduling.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
