About the role
We are seeking a Construction Helper to join our team in Edmonton. The role supports daily site operations by handling materials, assisting with concrete and asphalt work, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You will work closely with skilled tradespeople, following safety protocols and contributing to timely project completion.
Key responsibilities
- Load, unload and transport construction materials.
- Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
- Clean and pile salvaged materials and remove rubble.
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- Prior experience is an asset but not mandatory.
- Availability for early‑morning, morning, day, weekend shifts and overtime as needed.
- Open to newcomers, refugees, youth, Indigenous and visible minority workers, with access to diversity and cross‑cultural training.
