Construction Helper – Edmonton

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Construction Helper to join our team in Edmonton. The role involves supporting various construction activities on site, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment and the position includes shift work while contributing to environmentally positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate crane capacities for lifts.
• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Assist with drilling and blasting operations on rock.
• Support demolition of buildings.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of construction experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Team player with a hardworking attitude.
