Concrete Finisher – Permanent Full‑Time Position

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our Edmonton team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will work on a variety of commercial, industrial and residential projects, ensuring concrete surfaces are placed, finished and cured to the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement before concrete placement.
• Place concrete directly into forms or onto surfaces, following grade specifications.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and eliminate voids.
• Level and finish the top surface using hand and power tools to achieve the desired texture.
• Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages when required.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surfaces.
• Repair, resurface or replace damaged concrete sections as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• Valid First Aid and WHMIS certificates.
• Clean criminal record and successful drug test.
• Physically demanding work: heavy lifting, bending, kneeling and standing for long periods.
• Accurate, dependable team player with strong oral communication.

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
