Concrete Finisher

About the role

MVE Concrete Ltd. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team in Chilliwack, BC. The role involves working on commercial, industrial and residential projects, delivering high‑quality concrete finishes in dusty, hot and noisy outdoor environments.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement before concrete placement.
• Place concrete directly into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
• Fill hollows, remove surface imperfections, and operate power vibrators to compact the concrete.
• Level and finish the top surface to meet depth and grade requirements using hand and power tools.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure and protect finished surfaces.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of concrete finishing experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Physically demanding work: heavy lifting, bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in noisy, dusty conditions.
• Team‑player attitude with dependable work habits.
