Concrete Finisher Foreperson – Path2Zero Project

About the role

Kiewit is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher Foreperson to lead crews on the Path2Zero clean‑energy project in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This onsite, full‑time role involves supervising concrete finishing activities for a major industrial hydrogen facility.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate concrete finishing crews to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Interpret and implement industrial concrete forming systems and specifications.
• Ensure safe work practices, including fall protection and proper use of mobile elevated work platforms.
• Monitor daily progress, report issues, and collaborate with project managers and trades.
• Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials, and safety tickets.

Required profile

• Valid Journeyman Concrete Finisher Ticket (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum five years of experience in industrial concrete construction.
• Strong understanding of wet and dry concrete finishing techniques.
• Ability to pass SureHire drug, alcohol, half‑mask fit, and 50 lb fitness‑to‑work tests.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts.

What we offer

• Base wage of $56.80 per hour (CAD) as per CLAC agreement.
• ITC premium of $1.11 per hour on base hours.
• Vacation pay (6%) and statutory holiday pay (3.6%).
• Shift schedule: Monday‑Thursday 10 h, Friday 8 h.
• Opportunity to work on Canada’s largest clean‑hydrogen production site.
