About the role
Lexia Communications Inc. is seeking a Computer Programmer to join its team in Saskatoon. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, including e‑commerce solutions, while supporting existing programs.
Key responsibilities
- Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for various applications, including e‑commerce platforms.
- Maintain existing computer programs by making necessary modifications and updates.
- Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to team members and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, manuals, and documentation detailing software status, operation, and maintenance procedures.
- Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements and contribute to the development of logical and physical specifications.
- Research and evaluate a variety of software products to recommend appropriate solutions.
Required profile
- College/CEGEP education or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- Between 1 and less than 2 years of professional experience in programming or related IT roles.
