Senior AEM Architect

About the role

Accenture Song is hiring a Senior AEM Architect (Technology Architecture Manager, senior level, full time) to design and implement AEM solutions for its clients. The role covers the whole software development lifecycle, from analysis and requirements to development, testing and implementation, and includes mentoring developers through code reviews, workshops and documentation. It is open to multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large-scale AEM technical requirements and support new business development activities and RFPs
• Create technical grooming for functional stories and design documentation for the development team
• Provide platform governance and operational guidelines for multi-tenant environments
• Help the development team troubleshoot environment issues and assess impact and effort for change requests
• Build multi-view architecture diagrams for stakeholders and prospects
• Work with client technical leads and architects on physical and integration architecture
• Work with engagement and project managers on SDLC adherence, risk identification and mitigation
• Take part in software design, development and package implementation on WCM or eCommerce platforms such as Adobe AEM (CQ), SDL Tridion, hybris and Oracle/ATG
• Provide oversight, planning and technical guidance, and ensure code and design reviews follow best practices
• Manage vendors with the AMS team

Required profile

• 7+ years designing Adobe Experience Manager solutions
• 5+ years leading teams and technical project requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on Java and J2EE/JEE development
• 3+ years designing solutions with related technologies (Target, Analytics, AEP, etc.)
• University degree or equivalent experience
• English required, as the role interacts regularly with stakeholders across Canada, the US and other countries

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Edge Delivery Services (EDS)
• Bonus: AEM Architect certification
• Bonus: experience with WCM platforms such as Tridion, Sitecore, hybris, Oracle/ATG, Demandware, Intershop and IBM WebSphere Commerce
• Bonus: web technologies (XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX/JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL) and Java patterns (Spring, Sling, JUnit, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Git, Solr, Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic)
• Bonus: performance tuning, Unix/Linux, remote team management and consulting experience

The annual salary range for British Columbia, Ontario and New Brunswick is $99,450 to $209,900.
