Community & Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Community & Social Media Manager to lead the growth and engagement of the 12 Million Women online community. The role combines community moderation, event coordination and social‑media marketing to build a vibrant, supportive network of aspiring project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Moderate and administer the Circle platform, fostering a sense of belonging among members.
• Curate and publish educational content that supports member learning and professional growth.
• Interact with community members promptly and professionally, maintaining an active and welcoming environment.
• Plan, host and coordinate virtual community events and weekly bulletins.
• Manage all social‑media channels (LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, etc.) and develop a content calendar in collaboration with the Founder.
• Design and run marketing experiments to refine a sustainable acquisition strategy.
• Track community metrics and report insights to guide future initiatives.

Required profile

• Based in the Eastern Standard Time zone within Canada.
• Proven experience in social‑media management with measurable growth on Instagram, Reddit and/or LinkedIn.
• Strong familiarity with Canva for creating visual assets.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and support online communities.
