Communications Specialist IV (Digital Content & Storytelling)

About the role

We are looking for a Communications Specialist IV to join our Corporate Affairs team in Toronto. This 12‑month contract role will backfill a maternity leave and focus on high‑impact digital storytelling that supports corporate strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and edit written and multimedia content, including articles, videos, and social media posts.
• Publish and distribute content across corporate websites, social platforms, and external channels.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute content strategies.
• Pitch ideas, manage projects from concept through publication, and ensure editorial consistency.
• Leverage data and analytics to optimize content performance and inform editorial strategy.
• Support new communication initiatives and emerging digital storytelling channels.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in digital content creation and communications.
• Strong storytelling ability across multiple media formats.
• Exceptional editing and copywriting skills.
• Experience with SEO and GEO strategies in content development.
• Proven ability to translate complex topics into engaging, digestible content.
• Excellent project and deadline management with a collaborative mindset.
