Communications Consultant – Talent Marketing & Alumni Engagement

About the role
CGI is launching its first global alumni network to strengthen relationships with former partners and support talent and brand objectives. The Communications Consultant – Talent Marketing & Alumni Engagement will lead the development, launch and ongoing growth of this community, working within the Marketing & Communication department and collaborating with cross‑functional teams worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with an external vendor to deliver the alumni platform, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with global editorial, creative and digital teams to maintain brand‑consistent platform experience and content.
- Manage project plans, timelines and deliverables for a successful global launch, including testing, quality assurance and launch readiness.
- Work with CIO, HR, Data Privacy and other stakeholders to meet regulatory and internal standards.
- Serve as the primary global community manager, overseeing platform maintenance, moderation and user engagement.
- Develop and evolve the alumni engagement strategy, introduce new content/features, and build a network of metro‑market community managers.
- Design surveys and feedback mechanisms, track program performance, and produce reporting dashboards for stakeholders.
- Support broader talent brand initiatives by communicating CGI’s candidate value proposition and creating compelling stories for digital channels.
Required profile
- Proven experience in communications, marketing or talent branding within a global or multi‑regional context.
- Strong project‑management capabilities, including planning, execution and stakeholder coordination.
- Familiarity with community or alumni program development and ongoing management.
- Understanding of data‑privacy, regulatory compliance and internal governance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft stories and messages for diverse audiences.
