About the role
As a Commercial Space Business Analyst you will focus on optimizing the assortment mix and size of offer, securing project implementation and execution, and supporting global functions in the development and roll‑out of tests. This on‑site role reports to the Commercial Manager and is based in the Toronto Support Office.
Key responsibilities
- Optimize assortment mix and size of offer for stores.
- Provide commercial input to portfolio strategy using sales performance and catchment‑area analysis.
- Coordinate with Continent SP on replenishment adjustments and stock blocking during sudden store performance changes.
- Set the omni‑commercial business case, assortment mix and ideal store capacity for new stores, rebuilds and portfolio optimisations.
- Ensure interior tracking each season and gather data to define ideal store space capacity for future projects.
- Execute allocation actions for all store projects (new stores, rebuilds, closures, SP10) in line with project phase planning.
- Perform on‑site visits with the Visual Project Lead to ensure strong commercial execution and optimal customer experience.
- Follow up project performance, share learnings with Sales Market and Global teams.
- Collaborate across functions, including Expansion, area teams, store teams and VPLs, to support project execution.
- Provide data‑based feedback to Store Design on layout capacity to maximise sales productivity.
- Support global functions in the development and roll‑out of tests and other initiatives.
Required profile
- Formal education in a quantitative field such as Business or Finance (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build business cases and calculate ROI.
- Experience linking commercial analysis with store setup and layout.
- Strong project‑management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Merchandising or Expansion functions.
- Understanding of both Expansion and Commercial Merchandising ways of working.
