Job description
Huawei Canada’s Intelligent Cloud Infrastructure Lab is seeking a Co‑op Software Engineer to work on AI system and infrastructure projects. The role involves understanding the AI system and infrastructure technology landscape, identifying scalability and performance challenges in large language model (LLM) and multi‑modal LLM systems, and initiating innovation projects to build or re‑architect AI infrastructure platforms. You will design scalable, high‑performance architectures optimized for AI training and inference, covering cluster management, scheduling, LLM deployment, elastic LLM, and AI container start‑up optimization. Collaboration with internal and external teams is essential to deliver features that improve system scalability and performance.
