About the role
Huawei Canada’s Web Technology Lab is seeking a co‑op researcher to explore innovative architectures that enhance the rendering of ArkUI and web content. You will work on GPU driver customization, web rendering pipelines, and AI‑driven web content generation.
Key responsibilities
- Identify the key technologies required for problems in web and AI.
- Research and implement a proof‑of‑concept solution.
- Participate in the preparation and writing of a technical paper.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Eligibility to participate in a co‑op work term.
- Strong interest in AI‑driven web content generation and web page analysis.
Required skills
- Proficiency in PyTorch, CUDA, and HLSL.
- Knowledge of fine‑tuning AI models and training‑data processing.
- Understanding of web profiling, CPU/GPU performance analysis, rendering and compute pipelines, and GPU architecture.
