CNC Machinist – Precision Manufacturing

About the role

Frontier Inc is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to produce high‑quality kitchen cabinets and vanities in its Etobicoke facility. The role involves operating both conventional and computer‑controlled machine tools to meet tight production deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate CNC and conventional machine tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
• Measure and verify dimensions of parts using micrometers, gauges and other precision instruments.
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• Repair machine tools and parts as needed.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation with a Machinist Trade Certification.
• 3 to less than 5 years of experience in CNC machining, preferably in kitchen cabinet and vanity production.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• CNC machine operation and programming.
• Setting up and adjusting production machinery/tools.
• Using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
