Cloud Enterprise Architect

About the role

Accenture’s Data & AI practice is seeking a Cloud Enterprise Architect to lead the design and delivery of hybrid cloud‑based data platforms for enterprise clients. The role combines hands‑on data consulting, solution architecture and team leadership across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technology solution, architecture and full‑lifecycle delivery of large, complex data applications across cloud, hybrid and on‑premises landscapes.
• Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Spark, Kafka and medallion architecture.
• Develop solution blueprints, data modernization and migration plans, and present recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Automate and scale complex data sets to support structured analytics, real‑time streaming and applied intelligence use cases.
• Collaborate with platform, security and compliance teams to ensure designs are implementable as infrastructure‑as‑code and meet secure‑environment controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience implementing modern data architecture and enterprise‑scale data platforms.
• At least 5 years delivering Data & Analytics solutions on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or on‑premises environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience building Spark‑based data pipelines and migrating on‑prem Spark workloads to the cloud.
• Solutions‑architect certification on one of the major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; eligibility for Canadian Secret security clearance.
