Cloud Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join a long‑term, award‑winning AI‑first digital engineering team. The role is based in downtown Montreal and follows a hybrid work model, requiring 2‑3 days on‑site each week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic discussions with client stakeholders to define end‑to‑end cloud migration roadmaps, including target architecture and platform selection.
• Assess existing VMware on‑premise environments, identify dependencies, migration risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Define and govern cloud architecture standards, best practices, and technical design documentation.
• Design and implement secure cloud networking and security architectures, leveraging Palo Alto solutions for hybrid connectivity.
• Lead hands‑on migration of virtual machines and enterprise workloads to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on migration projects.
• Strong understanding of VMware environments and hybrid cloud integration.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
