Clinical Research Coordinator – Nurse (Pediatrics & Adults)

About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator – Nurse will support the successful conduct of multiple clinical research studies within the Pediatric and Adult departments of the Research Institute of the MUHC. Working closely with investigators and health‑care personnel, you will manage patient interactions and ensure rigorous coordination of study activities.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain informed consent and assess patient eligibility through interviews and medical record review.
• Maintain and complete medication, adverse event, and questionnaire logs, as well as protocol‑specific source documentation.
• Monitor patient safety, medication compliance, and prepare orders for protocol‑related procedures.
• Coordinate data collection, source documentation, and respond to queries from investigators.
• Conduct protocol‑specific trainings and manage Research Ethics Board submissions.
• Collaborate with pathology services to request slides and blocks as needed.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to support study execution.

Required profile

• DEC in nursing (required); Bachelor’s degree is an asset.
• Minimum four years of nursing experience, including at least two years in a hospital setting.
• Good‑standing member of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Fluent in both oral and written French and English.
