Clinical Research Coordinator – Nurse (Oncology)

About the role

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator – Nurse to support oncology clinical studies. Reporting to the Manager of Oncology Research, you will work within the Centre for Innovative Medicine to ensure high‑quality patient management and study coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain informed consent and assess patient eligibility for oncology protocols.
• Maintain medication, adverse event, and questionnaire logs, and ensure accurate source documentation.
• Monitor patient safety, medication compliance, and prepare protocol‑related orders and pathology requests.
• Coordinate data collection, complete research documents, and respond to queries from investigators.
• Conduct protocol‑specific training and create nursing alerts for the oncology day centre.
• Prepare and submit Research Ethics Board applications.

Required profile

• DEC in nursing (required); Bachelor’s degree is an asset.
• Minimum four years of nursing experience, including at least two years in a hospital setting.
• Experience in hematology/oncology and clinical research is an asset.
• Good‑standing member of the OIIQ.
