About the role

Join a multidisciplinary team at Kelowna General Hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist. You will provide clinical pharmacy services in acute and residential care, conduct personalized treatment assessments, and act as the primary drug‑information resource for healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure safe, effective, and economical use.
• Oversee ongoing drug therapy, evaluating effectiveness, compliance, adverse reactions, and interactions.
• Maintain accurate workload records and communicate findings and recommendations to the healthcare team.
• Document all activities in patient health records or computerized systems.
• Interpret medication orders, enter them into the database, and dispense prescriptions in compliance with legal, professional, and departmental standards.

Required profile

• Experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a dynamic, reliable, and flexible approach.
• Motivated individual comfortable working in a fast‑paced, rotating day and evening shift environment.
• Full‑time availability (Permanent, 1.00 FTE).
