Clinical Consultant Pharmacist – Signing Bonus

About the role

CareRx is seeking a Clinical Consultant Pharmacist to join its Kelowna team. The role focuses on delivering pharmacy services to long‑term care, supportive living and other congregate communities, ensuring residents receive optimal medication management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as liaison between long‑term care homes, retirement communities and CareRx Pharmacy to coordinate resident care and clinical support.
• Travel to assigned facilities to build and maintain relationships with leadership and clinical staff.
• Conduct comprehensive medication reviews for residents in serviced communities.
• Complete all required documentation and billing in accordance with MOHLTC, the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia and other provincial regulations.
• Provide education to residents and staff on health‑related topics, including medication safety.

Required profile

• Ability to perform medication reviews and clinical documentation as required by provincial standards.
• Willingness to travel regularly to multiple long‑term care and retirement sites.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with physicians, nurses and other health providers.
