Class 1 Driver - City Pickup & Delivery / Dock Worker

About the role

Manitoulin Transport is hiring a Class 1 driver for city pickup and delivery and dock work in Inuvik. The shift starts at 6:00 am, Monday to Friday, working on the dock unloading inbound freight safely and loading and securing freight onto the P&D trucks. Flexibility is required, and the driver must hold a Class 1 licence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer or body job, depending on freight volumes
• Unload inbound freight on the dock and load and secure freight onto the P&D trucks
• Perform other duties as required

Required profile

• Class 1 licence
• 1 year of city pickup and delivery experience is an asset
• Reliable and dependable, physically fit
• Able to provide a criminal record check, driver abstract and 2 work-related references

Required skills

• TDG and WHMIS
• Forklift operation
