Civil Superintendent

About the role

The Civil Superintendent will lead construction activities across the Greater Toronto Area, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while upholding the company’s high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily on‑site construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors and construction teams to promote safety and efficiency.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and project plans for accurate execution.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee quality‑control measures to meet industry standards.
• Maintain project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and reports.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safety protocols to provide a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience in civil or related construction fields.
• Proficiency with construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction estimating.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication with team members and clients.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
