Civil Construction Labourer – Port Alberni

Bowerman Construction is offering a Civil Construction Labourer position for ongoing projects in Port Alberni, BC. The role involves performing various construction site tasks, operating tools, and supporting the safety program. The successful candidate will join a diverse and dynamic team committed to safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the safety program.
• Perform tasks as required on the construction site, including shoveling and site clean‑up.
• Operate and maintain small tools and learn pipe‑laying techniques for advancement.

Required profile

• Ability to take and follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically fit, able to lift 50 lb or more and perform extensive physical labour.
• Valid provincial driver’s licence and ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of small construction tools.
• Basic pipe‑laying techniques (for advancement).
