Children, Family Resilience & Enrichment Coordinator

About the role

The Children, Family Resilience & Enrichment Coordinator supports families in the Seabird Island community by linking them to culturally relevant resources, programs, and services. Working under the Service Coordination Lead, this role focuses on navigation, coordination, and advocacy to promote resilience, wellness, and enrichment for children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of all information in line with privacy standards.
• Provide navigation and support in a non‑judgmental, culturally sensitive, trauma‑informed manner.
• Respond to requests from families, community members, and case management teams to identify and connect appropriate services.
• Assist families in understanding resources and pathways that support resilience and enrichment.
• Promote coordinated care by liaising with internal departments and external service providers.
• Share information about workshops, educational sessions, and community programs that promote wellness.
• Identify service gaps or emerging needs and report findings to the Service Coordination Lead and Health Team.
• Maintain accurate records of navigation activities and submit monthly activity reports.
