Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

Proliferate Inc., a Canadian contract manufacturer of clean cosmetics and personal care products, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead its production and operations engine as the company enters a high‑growth phase. Reporting directly to the owners, the COO will be the operational architect responsible for scaling the business responsibly while preserving quality, culture, and values.

Key responsibilities

• Assume end‑to‑end accountability for manufacturing, logistics, facilities, and people systems.
• Design and implement scalable operational processes that support rapid growth.
• Maintain rigorous production standards and consistency at scale.
• Partner with owners to free them for strategic initiatives, client relationships, and innovation.
• Ensure the organization can expand its footprint without compromising product integrity or company culture.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, commercially minded operations leader with a track record in growth environments.
• Ability to bring structure, discipline, and clarity to complex manufacturing operations.
• Comfort with balancing agility and entrepreneurial spirit while implementing robust systems.
