Chemical Laboratory Technician

About the role

ALS Canada Ltd. is seeking a diligent Chemical Laboratory Technician to join its Val-d'Or facility. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate chemical analysis and maintaining high quality standards in a fast‑paced laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and perform analyses using chromatography techniques.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and apparatus.
• Set up and execute chemical experiments, tests, and analytical procedures.
• Assist in developing and implementing sampling and analysis programs to meet quality standards.
• Compile records, interpret experimental results, and prepare clear documentation.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or equivalent 1‑2 year certificate/diploma, or comparable experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and good hand‑eye coordination.
• Accurate, organized, and capable of exercising sound judgement.
