Cellular Telephone Technician

About the role

Impression Celltech is seeking a Cellular Telephone Technician to join our team in Chatham, ON. The role involves inspecting, testing, repairing and maintaining telephone and cable equipment to ensure reliable service for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test cable signals and associated telecommunications equipment.
• Repair or replace defective telephone and cable hardware, power supplies and amplifiers.
• Diagnose equipment faults, adjust, replace or repair switching systems, networks and related software.
• Install, arrange, remove and maintain telephone wiring, cable modems and related software.
• Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines.
• Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets.
• Determine work assignments and prioritize tasks.
• Complete and maintain detailed test and service reports.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in telephone or telecommunications equipment installation and repair.
• Bondable security clearance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
