Cashier – Retail Customer Service

About the role

Join Walmart Canada as a Cashier and become the friendly face that welcomes shoppers at checkout. You will handle transactions efficiently while delivering excellent customer service, helping to build loyalty and a positive store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a polite and friendly manner.
• Process purchase transactions quickly and accurately, including deactivation of merchandise for the EAS program.
• Promote company sponsor programs such as credit cards, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading their items.
• Follow safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a clean work area.
• Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and awareness of surroundings.
• Refer complex service or transactional issues to a Customer Service Manager as needed.

Required profile

• Must be at least 16 years old.
