Carpentry Supervisor – Construction & Millwork

About the role

The Carpentry Supervisor will lead a team in a busy construction and millwork environment, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to high quality standards. You will coordinate daily activities, train staff, and drive continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production and other reports.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Resolve work problems and provide technical advice.
• Supervise workers and coordinate project activities.
• Train staff or arrange training.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Set up equipment and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Read blueprints and drawings.
• Requisition materials, equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate and schedule activities.
• Recommend personnel actions.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
