About the role
The Car Dealership Manager will lead daily operations at our Fergus, ON location, ensuring smooth sales and service processes. This role combines strategic planning, staff leadership, and market analysis to drive profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and control daily dealership operations, including staffing and duty assignments.
- Analyze market research and trends to forecast consumer demand and adjust sales strategies.
- Implement pricing, credit policies, and promotional campaigns.
- Procure merchandise for resale and manage inventory using control software.
- Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and determine staffing requirements.
- Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3–5 years of experience in automotive retail or similar environment.
- Ability to conduct performance reviews and supervise staff.
- Clear criminal record and valid driver’s licence.
Required skills
- Proficiency with inventory control software.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills.
