CAN Driver – Full-time Delivery Role

About the role

This full-time position involves courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route for Federal Express Canada. The driver ensures shipments meet FedEx service standards and provides related customer service functions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver packages according to the assigned schedule and route.
• Verify shipments for compliance with FedEx Canada service features and Canadian customs regulations.
• Handle packages up to 150 lb using appropriate equipment and lift at least 70 lb safely.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate any issues to dispatch.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

Profile sought

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence (class 5, G or equivalent) with a clean driving record (no more than two infractions/accidents in the past 24 months).
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English / French) capability, especially for Quebec assignments.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and holidays as required.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence and good driving record.
• Package handling equipment operation.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations.
• Familiarity with Canadian customs regulations.
